Murugan, also known as Kumaran, Kartikeya, Sanmuka & Subramaniya, is the Hindu God of war. He is the son of Shiva & Parvati. Murugan is particularly popular in South India, Srilanka & Malaysia. He is found in many medieval temples all over India, such as at the Ellora Caves & Elephanta caves.
